Emily Bateman was raised as the itinerant daughter of an army chaplain. In 2012 while studying music at the University of Oklahoma, an undiagnosed illness redirected her life. Three years later, she and her brother Derek Moore launched Psalter Project with the release of their debut album Highways in our Hearts. Since then Emily has continued to direct and develop the vision for Psalter Project. She and her husband Jared live in La Junta, CO.
Jacob Tilton is originally from Louisiana but has lived in Fort Worth, TX since 2006. He is the music director at Fort Worth Presbyterian Church where he has produced several albums of hymns and instrumental music. He and his wife of 20 years have 3 children. They enjoy the Texas Rangers as well as meat that has been smoked for long periods of time at low temperatures.
Jim Dineen has been recording/mixing music since 1984. He has won a Grammy for Third Day’s “Come Together” album and two Dove awards. He splits his time recording music in the studios of Nashville and beyond with editing, mixing, and mastering at his home studio, Seamus Sounds.
Derek Moore is the primary translator for most of Psalter Project's lyrics. He began serving as a pastor at Laramie Reformed Presbyterian Church in June 2015. He and his wife Clara have been married since 2013, and they are parents to three young boys, Caleb, Paul, and Asher. Derek also serves as a Chaplain in the Wyoming Army National Guard. The Moores are excited about the prospect of serving God and raising their family in Laramie.
Dr. Dave Yauk is first a foremost a follower of Jesus. He has been privileged to do ministry in over 17 countries, and his writing has been published in Transpositions, Logos Press, the YouVersion Bible App, and in 4 published works for adults and children. He is a Professor of Theology, Spiritual Formation, and Bible at Grand Canyon, and Professor of Worship, Missiology, and Songwriting at Visible Music College. Dave owns the Garden City Project —an online collaborative P&P hub for Christian artists and innovators).
Jeremy Casella is a Nashville-based songwriter, performer, and producer who writes music that guides people towards a deeper relationship with God. Drawing from scripture and his own life experience, Jeremy has toured throughout the United States & Europe for over 15 years, sharing his songs and stories in churches, colleges and anywhere else people are gathered. His latest album is Death In Reverse.
James C. Zeller grew up in the Sangre de Cristo mountains near Westcliffe, CO alongside his twelve siblings. Following his homeschool education, he went on to pursue an M. Div. at Sangre de Cristo Seminary and a B. A. in English from College of the Ozarks. He is currently residing in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area, working on an M. A. in English at the University of Dallas with hopes of becoming a Professor of Literature.
